The Hispanic Magazine of the Competitive Intelligence,
PUZZLE, has the objective to publish articles about the
Competitive Intelligence and the Technology Watch that can
be of interest to the pertinent academic and professional
groups. PUZZLE accepts exclusively unpublished articles,
that is to say that they have not been published before.
Articles are only accepted in spanish, however, PUZZLE provides
a service of translation of any language to Spanish, with
credit to the author.

The collaborators of PUZZLE are professionals and academics
of various countries recognized by their knowledge in some
of the specialties of the Competitive Intelligence (CI)
and the Technology Watch (TW) that develop their activity
in different sectors, public and private, as well as in
universities. Specialists in security, in patents and marks,
in IT, in R&D, university Professors and teachers, practical
experiences in the private and public sector, etc., they
are some of the contributors that collaborate periodically
with PUZZLE.

PUZZLE facilitates the common project to diffuse the CI
and the TW, through free distribution, of the experience
and of the knowledge in CI or TW of its collaborators. Participating
in PUZZLE represents the transmission of knowledge to a
community formed by 3,700 subscribers (November 2006) in
36 countries of Europe and America, becoming one of the
greater communities of the world in its specialty. Furthermore,
the web page of PUZZLE and its contents receive an average
of two thousand monthly visits, including the access to
its previous editions.
PUZZLE offers its collaborators a program of credits that
permits the utilization of advertising spaces. The Magazine

PUZZLE has
criteria for selection and validation of contributions equivalent
to its level of quality. With the objective to contribute
the maximum level of quality to their readers, PUZZLE applies
the method of double blind in the selection of contributions
and, once accepted, all the works exhaustively are revised
by the team of correction and revision.
The collaborators of PUZZLE are professionals and academics
recognized by their knowledge in some of the specialties
of the CI and TW pertinent to the private sector and universities
of various countries. Specialists in security, in patents
and marks, in IT, in R+D, university Professors and teachers,

Acceptance of
articles and works |
|

The Direction and the Editorial Committee have the firm
purpose to maintain a level of proper quality of publication
of a scientific character. The Direction has the function
to decide the themes of the editions, the validation and
subsequent acceptance or denial of the articles remitted
by the authors.
The initial criteria of acceptance of articles are the
following:
- Interest to the audience of professionals and educators
in the area of the CI and TW
- Originality in the contents
- Clarity in the exposition of the theme
- Applicability of the concepts exposed
Two types of contributions exist with PUZZLE, the participation
as a columnist in the publication and the publication of
works or studies of long extension on the Competitive Intelligence
and the Technology Watch.
The process of publication for an article in PUZZLE requires
the following steps:
1. Acceptance of the theme and typology of the article or
work on the part of the Editorial Committee.
2. Revision of the article or work with the 'double blind'
system.
3. Assignment of the article to the edition of PUZZLE most
coherent with its theme.
4. Correction and revision of the work and if necessary,
adaptation of the text to the literary and grammatical style
of the magazine.
5. Final acceptance on the part of the Director of PUZZLE.
PUZZLE puts at the disposal of their collaborators the
Author´s Guide,
where can be found all the specified aspects of format and
necessary style for the publication of an article in the
magazine PUZZLE. .
